Meet Jennifer Martin
Jennifer Martin is a certified Life Coach
and Mindfulness Instructor
. Jennifer works privately with individuals who are looking to better understand what Mindfulness is and how it can benefit them. She brings her experience as a Life Coach and her passion for Mindfulness together to assist others in creating a Mindfulness practice of their own. She leads an 8-week series and some less intensive one day workshops at A Mindfulness Life Center as well as offering guided meditation classes at the center on Tuesdays and Fridays at noon.
Jennifer began her own Mindfulness practice over twelve years ago after she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. As a mother of two young daughters she found herself challenged with this diagnosis and experienced some debilitating anxiety while recovering from her first relapse. This led her on a personal journey through Mindfulness that was life altering in the most unimaginable ways. She is a graduate of Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
program through the University of Massachusetts and after working closely, as an assistant with her instructor, she created a program of her own that is modeled after the very course that changed her life. Experiencing so many benefits over the years, Jennifer attributes her continued wellness to the ways that Mindfulness has allowed her to manage the stress in her everyday life.
